The crossing and signal rebuild at N Rosa Parks Way and N Greeley Avenue is complete, according to the Portland Bureau of Transportation. Crews finished the final striping, and PBOT has optimized timing for the rebuilt intersection.
The project adds a crosswalk on the west side of the intersection, accessible curb ramps, protected left-turn signals and larger signal heads with reflective backplates. New fiber communications allow coordinated timing along Greeley, and PBOT plans to use the system with TriMet for transit signal priority.
Crews will return periodically for planting and small adjustments. PBOT says those remaining tasks are not expected to affect traffic. Travelers can now use the completed layout while the bureau finishes that punch-list work.
