Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said Tuesday that new intelligence indicates Russia is preparing another large-scale attack on Ukraine.

“There is updated intelligence indicating that Russia is preparing a massive attack,” Zelenskyy said in his nightly video address.

He said Ukrainian forces and air-defense units were preparing to respond but argued that the country’s ability to defend itself depends heavily on weapons and air-defense capabilities supplied by international partners.

Zelenskyy specifically called for political support from the United States, European countries and other allies.

The warning comes as both Russia and Ukraine have intensified long-range attacks. Russia has recently increased strikes on infrastructure in Kyiv and other Ukrainian regions, while Ukraine has targeted Russian energy facilities.

The warning is an assessment by Ukrainian officials; WE PNW cannot independently verify Russia’s operational plans.
