Camas Sets Nov. 16 Hearing on 6% Utility Tax Levy

Camas residents can attend in person or remotely and submit written comments before the hearing ends.

Camas will hold a public hearing on a proposed 6% utility tax levy at 7 p.m. Monday, Nov. 16, at City Hall, 616 NE 4th Ave. The city says the hearing is for public testimony on the levy.

People may attend remotely; connection details are expected on the city meetings page a few days before the hearing, according to the city. Residents may also speak at the hearing or email written comments to publiccomments@cityofcamas.us before it concludes.

Those who need disability accommodations or language assistance are asked to contact the City Clerk’s Office at least five days ahead of the hearing.
