Overnight paving to close NE 122nd Avenue for four nights

PBOT says overnight closures will affect the stretch between NE Halsey Street and NE Broadway while crews complete the corridor’s final paving phase.

NE 122nd Avenue will be fully closed between NE Halsey Street and NE Broadway from Oct. 12 through Oct. 15, with work scheduled nightly from 7 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. The Portland Bureau of Transportation (PBOT) says crews will grind and repave the roadway during those hours.

PBOT says limited access to businesses will be maintained, and sidewalks will stay open to pedestrians. The full road closure means drivers should plan another route during the overnight work period.

The agency says crews will repave 1.68 lane miles, making this the corridor’s final paving phase.
