U.S. stocks climbed to new records Tuesday, with both the S&P 500 and Nasdaq closing at all-time highs.

The S&P 500 gained 0.6% to close at 7,818.93, while the Nasdaq Composite added about 0.4% to finish at 27,599.79.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 0.5% to 51,521.28.

Lower Treasury yields helped support equities, while investors continued to favor technology and artificial-intelligence-related companies.

Constellation Energy was among the day’s notable gainers after announcing a major long-term electricity agreement with Google that includes additional nuclear generation.

The rally puts the S&P 500 up more than 14% for the year and the Nasdaq up nearly 19%, according to AP market data.
